There are a number of ways you help us fulfill our mission of creating and strengthening healthy communities. For more information about these ideas or to learn if there is a Mercy Housing property in your neighborhood, call the Mercy Housing office nearest you.

Volunteer to help out at a property.
You can be a mentor to a resident by offering your guidance, expertise and compassion. You could tutor children on using a computer, help parents learn how to prepare for a job interview or organize a Halloween party. Or, you and your friends and colleagues could paint the children's library or help plant flowers on the property grounds.

Donate resources to support our resident initiatives.

Many Mercy Housing properties have community centers that need books, games, computers, computer programs, school equipment, playground equipment and furniture. If you have any of these items, please contact the Mercy Housing office nearest you to make arrangements for delivery.

Donate or sell land and property that is suitable for developing housing.

You may have some land that we can use to develop multi-family housing in your community. You can contact any Mercy Housing office to discuss this opportunity.

Contribute your dollars to help us continue and expand our work.

Your financial contribution can make the difference in the life of an individual or family living at one of our properties by supporting the education and vocational services available to residents.

Make a special contribution to Mercy Housing by shopping at MercyMart.

Profits from the sale of merchandise will support our work of building healthy communities throughout the nation.

Speak out about the need for safe, decent and affordable housing.

You have a voice that can help us educate the public about housing justice.
